About JASMIN Society

About JASMIN Society

Established as a venue for information exchange, JASMIN Society pursues the dual approaches of (1) basic research and (2) clinical research into the discovery and application of the novel actions of sirolimus.

"JASMIN Society" is an abbreviation for "Japanese Association of Sirolimus Medical Investigation Network."

JASMIN Society supports the expansion of sirolimus use for new diseases and the regulatory approval of sirolimus for new administrations and dosages.

It further seeks to enlighten healthcare practitioners in multiple fields about the side effects of sirolimus and to educate young researchers engaged in basic and clinical research involving sirolimus. We are working to deepen an understanding of the pharmacological actions of sirolimus, to share clinical information obtained from research, including information on efficacy and side effects, with researchers and clinicians, and to contribute to the improvement of future medical care.

The website offers members-only pages as a means for members to exchange information.
Registering members can participate in web-based discussions.
(Use of the members-only pages requires separate membership registration via the site.)
The members-only section accepts questions concerning research and inquiries concerning dosage and side effects in off-label use from medical practitioners who are using or considering the use of sirolimus.
We invite you to make use of these resources.
